Prepping Units For Rental

Nothing turns off a potential tenant than an unprepared, dirty unit.

That's why we make it our duty to have vacant units cleaned thoroughly; kitchen cabinets, drawers, appliances, floors, bathrooms, windows and carpet shampoo.

In some cases, minor touch ups and maintenance such as painting, flooring repairs, plumbing, etc. are also taken care of. However, each rental property is different, which is why we provide walkthroughs before listing the unit for rent to ascertain if any cleaning, repairs or replacements are necessary.

Vacant Unit; Cleaned & Ready for Move In

Walkthroughs

Because every home is different, an inspection walkthrough is scheduled where a representative will take notes and pictures to discuss with owners anything that requires to be cleaned, repaired and/ or replaced.

Should a tenant be living in the unit and about to vacate, the walkthrough checklist is scheduled within 2 weeks of their departure in the case that there is any damage that is not defined as 'wear and tear'.

We also recommend changing locks, or installing digital locks if you plan on a long term rental investment as it makes the rekeying process much easier.

Getting your rental property ready for a new tenant requires some effort, but it’s all worth it when you welcome happy tenants into your home.
